This is definitely intentional, because the craftsmen had the artfully woven web of a spider (Ankabut) in mind when designing it. Alternatively, the design is reminiscent of fireworks as they unfold magnificently in the sky. The diamond edge is completely typical of the mosaic art of the Orient : This religious symbol is said to have a protective function.

You can find the color green on this mosaic table in three very different shades: emerald green, light green and turquoise.
